Spring is one of my favorite seasons for new nail polish releases, and this year the Deborah Lippmann Spring Reveries collection is my favorite. The launch features six beautiful pastels, and I couldn’t resist picking up the green and blue hues.
Spring Buds is a honey dew melon creme, a unique addition to my current collection. Often times I find lime green colors are either too bright, too ugly, or just clash with my skin tone, but something about this color just works. The formula was fantastic too! I used two coats for full coverage and the consistency was perfect.
Flowers In Her Hair is a minty green creme. The name alone makes me want to put on a flower crown and sway back and forth at a summer music festival. This shade isn’t extremely unique, but I do find that it is softer than a lot of “brighter” mints I see around. The closest thing I have to this in my collection is Essie Fashion Playground (also new this year), which is slightly more green. The formula on this one wasn’t quite as flawless as Spring Buds and Blue Orchid, but still good. I used two coats for full coverage.

Blue Orchid is a light blue creme that borders on being periwinkle. I LOVE this one. The formula is an A+, and the subtle purple undertone makes this a great blue on my fair complexion. Paired with my Butter London Nail Foundation and Hardwear Topcoat, I get almost a week of wear out of this with zero chipping. Dupe-wise, the closest thing I can think of is Essie Bikini So Teeny, which is slightly more periwinkle.
The Deborah Lippmann Spring Reveries polishes retail for $18. Overall, I’m thrilled with all three of these and highly recommend them! What nail polishes are you loving this spring?
