I love a good mystery novel, the type that has your mind turning from page one trying to piece together clues and solve the puzzle before the author clearly reveals it. This summer, one of my best reads has been ‘The Girl On The Train‘ by Paula Hawkins, which I downloaded to my Kindle after hearing people compare it to one of my all-time favorites, ‘Gone Girl.’ The premise is very similar: a married woman disappears and you can’t quite figure out what happened to her, if anything. As the story progresses, secrets of the main characters are exposed and everyone looks suspicious enough that you don’t know what to believe until the end. If you like mysteries, and especially if you liked ‘Gone Girl,’ I definitely recommend this one! The plot is clever and keeps you guessing what character’s motives really are even in the last chapters.
