Shower Staples From The Bathery

I love chatting about bath and body products – cleansers, scrubs, etc. – but I realized I’ve never discussed the tools I use in combination with these products to maximize their effect. I’ve been trying out some new tools recently thanks to The Bathery, and today I thought I’d share a few of my favorites as well as the products I pair them with!

My first shower essential is a good loofah – seriously, this is MUST for me. I used to do the whole “I don’t need a loofah I’ll just use a washcloth” thing and uhh, shower life is infinitely better with a big soft fluffy poof. The Bathery Let’s Spa Clean Bath Sponge is uber luxurious and does a great job at lathering up my Neutrogena Rainbath Pear & Green Tea Shower Gel. Bonus – it’s treated with antimicrobial protection to preserve the sponge and keep it fresh!

Another favorite shower staple of mine is The Bathery Exfoliating Gloves. If you are looking for the smoothest skin ever, add these to your routine. I’ve been pairing them with the SheaMoisture Coconut & Hibiscus Hand & Body Scrub – this may win the award for best smelling product in my shower – and the gloves really help concentrate the exfoliant around my elbows, knees, and ankles. And because I have t-rex arms and can’t reach my upper back, I’ve also been using The Bathery Exfoliating Cloth, which is nifty because I can stretch it out and hold it between my hands, leaving no spot un-scrubbed!

The Bathery products are sold exclusively at Target, and so far I’ve been really happy with everything I’ve tried. If you check out The Bathery, be sure to use Cartwheel to get 15% off the entire line, or get BOGO 25% off in-store from 8/30-9/12! Twin Cities Moms Blog also did a great post on The Bathery products, which you can check out here!

What are your favorite bath tools?

I’ll have to check out the Bath Sponge! I’ve used an loofah pretty much exclusively for years so it never hurts to try something else!
