The Face Mask Stash

I love a good skincare treat, and face masks are one of my favorite ways to pamper myself. I didn’t realize how many I had accumulated until organizing my beauty stash last week, so I thought I would gather them all and share my thoughts on each one!

  • GLAMGLOW ThirstyMud Hydrating Treatment: Of all my hydrating face masks, this is probably my favorite. With a slew of ingredients including hyaluronic, citric, and linoleum acid, this product leaves my skin feeling excellent. I usually leave it on overnight for extra hydration!
  • Origins Clear Improvement Charcoal Mask: This is a charcoal mask designed to pull dirt and oil out of pores, and while I’m a huge fan of Origins products, this one is only so-so for me. I usually just use it on my nose to treat blackheads, but the results aren’t stellar – I prefer the GLAMGLOW SuperMud treatment by far!
  • Michael Todd Avocado and Mango: The Michael Todd skincare line is all-around fantastic, and their masks are no exception. This Avocado and Mango one smells amazing and makes my skin feel ultra soft and moisturized.
  • First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Instant Oatmeal Mask: If you have sensitive skin, this mask – and brand – is for you! All of the products are scent-free and allergy tested, and this mask blends a combination of oats with antioxidants to nourish the skin.
  • Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask: Meant to be slept in, this mask does a great job of hydrating my skin overnight, and it smells like fresh fruit. Ingredients include avocado, apricot kernel oil, and Japanese seaweed to moisturize and prevent future dehydration.
  • LUSH Mask of Magnaminty: One of my newer mask discoveries, Mask of Magnaminty is a multi-tasking, miracle-in-a-jar kind of product. It contains clay and fresh peppermint to pull debris out of pores, and aduki beans to exfoliate the skin. Rounding out the recipe is vanilla absolute and honey to calm and soothe. It’s AWESOME. Try it.

Of all the masks in my stash at the moment, I think my favorites are the GLAMGLOW ThirstyMud and LUSH Mask of Magnaminty. What skincare treats are you loving these days?

    • Allison Anderson

I find that GlamGlow masks in general are almost unbeatable, they really are so effective!

Really like all of the First Aid Beauty products as I love that I can use them with my super sensitive skin. Haven’t tried any of the others but have always been interested in the Glam Glow. I will get around to trying it one of these days!

I’ve been wanting to try Glamglow and Mask of Magnaminty, but I’m trying to use up my other products first. I really love sheet masks though! Those are nice and luxurious feeling.

  • Brittany

I’m always looking for a good mask! I’ve heard tons of great things recently about Glamglow so it is my list to try next! As a huge fan of lush, I also love their masks! I haven’t tried the Mask of Magnaminty yet, so I’ll have to add that to my list as well!

  • Inma

My all time favourite has to be REN’s Glycolytic Radiance Renewal Mask. It is exfoliating and makes your skin look brighter and kind of newer after just one use. I love it!
Seeing you mention the Michael Todd range made me wonder what happened to it! A couple of years ago most YouTubers and bloggers were raving about it but it I hadn’t heard anyone talk about it for ages until now!

I love the Glamglow masks! Caudalie’s Instant Detox is my current favourite.

  • Ashley Elizabeth

I’ve only tried the Origins charcoal mask, but if I will definitely give the Glam Glow one a try now <3

  • Julia

I lovelovelove the Origins Drink Up Intensive! I’ve been using a small size of the GlamGlow Youth Mud Mask and I have to say I’m not the biggest fan. I think it’s quite aggressive but doesn’t give me the awesome results I’m looking for. But each to their own!

  • Lucy

This is INCREDIBLY similar, if not the same as my face mask stash. You have good taste!

Have you tried the Cup O’ Coffee mask/scrub from LUSH yet? Its amazing. Exfoliating and mositurising. Plus is wakes you up!
